The National Domestic Workers Welfare Movement (NDWWT) was founded by Sister Jeanne Devos in 1985 with the aim of giving dignity to domestic workers. They recognised that child domestic work is child labour, and worked towards its abolishment. It resonated with Bansuri’s vision that every child has a right to a good childhood and education.
